Just "ordered" New Sebenza--Bark Ivory....

Well, kind of....In the process of trying to find a small micarta (which I couldn't), I started looking at more and more websites...Whenever I did, the bark ivory's really started to catch my eye....Well, if you think a micarta is hard to find, try finding a bark ivory that you love on the secondary market (supply definitely does not equal demand).....So, I called up CRK and touched base with them....Essentially, I have emailed them my request with a bunch of pictures of other ivory's that I like as examples.....I have not heard back, since I just made contact, but this process will hopefully end with an official order...Now, just have to wait the 10-12 months and I am all set!

Anyone have positive ordering experience with CRK they can share?

This is NOT my knife (if its yours, wanna sell it? ), and this in NOT my picture ("Only Fine Knives"), but this is what I want, maybe with ladder Damascus....

Gorgoues! Something about mammoth bark/ivory that is just so appealing...adding Damascus just puts icing on the cake!

Congrats! I was lucky enough to pick up a small ivory bark Sebenza on ebay a few months back. It is really beautiful with the raindrop damascus.

Freaking gorgeous!!! I LOVE Mammoth bark/ivory and on top of adding damascus!!! Man I'm getting horny. Just kidding. I have a few custom knives made with Mammoth and I love them. Just be careful though. They can break, chi, crack and shrink.
I have dealt with CRK's a few times and they are my preferred method of purchase. They are great there. If you try and go with damascus they will have you waiting for up to 2 years.
About the micarta. You and I have had issues with that. Remember? Well today I was going to call the Knife Center and cancel)been busy with newborn so I forgot to call) then I walk in the door and there was a package from the mail man. Guess what?
