Just ordered the BM RIFT - will I be happy???

After going to my local brick and mortar and handling the RIFT I just ordered it online from New Graham. I'm excited as all get out. With the price being $70 cheaper I'm thrilled.
For those of you that own the RIFT are you happy with it?

Perfect size, the AXIS lock which I love (got the mini-grip) and the awesome G10!
Can you tell I'm a little happy? :D:D

I've got a 950 Rift in plain edge with the satin finish and love it.

In my case, looks can be deceiving. From catalog photos and online pics I decided it wasn't for me, and said so to a bunch of friends. That 'last knife on the planet' theory disappeared the minute I got one in my hands. I walked out of my favorite knife store with one and haven't looked back.

I like my folders medium sized and this fits the bill nicely. Actually, making a comparison it's about the same size as my 520 Presidio without the extra weight and rough aluminum handle scales.

The balance between the G-10 handle scales and the large reverse Tanto blade make for a very nice package - and had I not picked one up I would've never known.

This knife is one of four or five EDC's that get regular use in the kitchen...

So I really do recommend you try one, I think you'll like it.
 
Thanks jkarp! I was in the same boat. I liked the looks of it online but knew that I wanted to handle one first. After playing with it at the store I was hooked. Now, only a few days to wait.
 
this knife seems to be one that is a love it or leave it. as you've handled one i will venture to say it's going to be one of your favorites. it's very close to perfect for me.
 
I fondled one just last Wednesday. It has a fantastic feel to it and, of course, the Axis can;t be beat. If the shop I was in didn;t have the habit of charging MSRP plus some, I would've walked out of the store with it!
