After much debate between the Maxpedition Sitka and the Maxpedition Kodiak, I finally ordered the Maxpedition Kodiak. I was going to be using this bag to lug my 15'' macbook pro around town, maybe some book carrying for college, And lastly traveling/camping already have Yellowstone and Bahamas planned out later this year. Will post pictures when the bag arrives.

Let us know how you like it! I've been debating upgrading to a Kodiak from my well-used Malaga. The strap design looks a lot more comfy on the Kodiak/Sitka series.

The kodiak has tons of space and a great pocket layout. The only problem I've had with mine over the last year or so is not overloading it. With only one strap, it doesn't take much weight to make it uncomfortable. A great edc bag, but not something I take on hikes. As for the people who dismiss maxpedition as tacticool, they are missing out. Judging gear on it's looks rather than functionality is just plain foolish. Hope you enjoy it!
