Yes, RC-6, it's one from before the name change. (like it was really that long ago)

Guess I'll have to start pulling up and reading old threads about Altoid sized kits now.

And the waiting begins...................

Please post some pics once you get everything set up. I've seen Tony's and his set up looks great. I just got my ESEE-6 and molle back yesterday. I'm waiting for the pouch to ship out.

Stormstaff - I don't know if TTD has rust issues, but another forum I am on a lot had a guy who built a kit less than 2 months ago in the Altoid tin. He opened it last week to find it basically a mess.

Humidity in your area will probably play a lot into your results - he didn't add the vitamin pill bottle insert or anything else to prevent rust either, and he didn't tape his shut around all seams. Bottom line, he's going to use a plastic one now. (Gum containers at checkouts). Just FWIW.

hi, your going to enjoy your back and pouch and have fun making a kit.

snapped a quick shot of mine. i was mostly concerned with getting fire, i got stuck in the woods one time on a very cold night with no way to make fire. believe me you can not get fire from gunpowder and tryin to light it with a primer. like to froze my butt off.

Nice setup Dave! Everytime I see your handle it makes me want to take my Dremel to mine and try to replicate it.

Here's the contents of one of my small survival kit tins...

I took out some of the fire starters and had added an AH-1 arrowhead and have a little room to add 1-2 other small items. This is the same size tin that fits inside the ESEE Pouch.
