One thing about a Voyager you get a lot of knife for your moneyI ordered all 3 blade shapes of the plain edge Voyager a little while back. All of them came with smooth triad locks….the drop point had the pre GSM logo. I got that one from New Graham…they only had 2 in stock so I emailed before ordering and asked for them to please check for any triad lock “stickiness”. Got a reply saying one was much smoother to open than the other, so I said I’ll take that one. I’ve ordered from them before (yrs ago)….excellent customer service. The knives themselves are awesome, very ergonomic and I feel an incredible deal.
Is this the XL version? While I was looking around on knifecenter I seen they had a Voyager tanto PLAIN blade for 62.95. I couldn't help myself. So I ordered it. I just hope it's like the old ones. And I hope I don't get that dreaded lock stick. We shall see
Yes it has a five and a half inch bladeIs this the XL version?

Jimislash is a rep for CS (YouTube guy) and said the contractors and factories making the knives remain unchanged so therefore I don’t expect any less in workmanship, but it’s good you can attest here. Others have said the same about how the same factories/contractors are still making them. I’ve been really happy with the recent Voyager I bought as well as the cool OD/black TiLite 6. It’s so nice and has a nice black pocket clip. I don’t like the shiny ones.It just got delivered today here is my first impressions, blade sharpness is good, lock up is tight, no lock stick whatsoever, blade centering is perfect, opens very easily, tip seems very strong, now for the one thing I don't like, I got to bend another pocket clip, they're just too tight, other than that so far I'm satisfied, I could see this going into my rotation, to be honest with you I'm surprised GSM did such a good job. I was not expecting such a good knife. I would buy another cold steel knife and I would recommend it at least from what I'm seeing here. Oh yeah they sent two pocket clips so it's ambidextrous.
yea. My Counterpoint has a high polish clip. I'm thinking of taking it off. Too many eyes gravitate to it. Opposite than I want. I fly low. Also I’m an albatross or whatever you wanna call it, but I like a tight pocket clip because I don’t want my knife moving at all. I have had too many escape my pockets! I’ll take a little scuffing of my pockets for that added security. I did once bend a pocket clip from CS by putting it in between. A vice and slightly bending it but I didn’t like it, it was too loose and then I couldn’t get it back to how it was
There’s my coffee rant!
Haha me too. Yup. Put your extra Voyager clip on it. That’s what I did with my Talwar. Perfect fityea. My Counterpoint has a high polish clip. I'm thinking of taking it off. Too many eyes gravitate to it. Opposite than I want. I fly low. Under the radar.
