A new large sebenza 21.... carbon fiber from knifeart :-). Hope i like it! I've been drooling over a sebenza for a few years now, finally getting one. My favorite knife out of my collection right now would have to be my spyderco military. I wonder if this will rival it. I also got a tube of the grease just to keep on hand.

How does s35vn vary from s30v? Would i be safe to use it at work (i work in a garage), in the woods, fishing, in the rain and stuff like that? How does the knife do when dirty?
 
I keep reading in places that the blue tube te lanyard goes through will fall out of there is no lanyard. What causes it to fall out? And how do you keep it in without the lanyard?
 
The small will stay in and the large will fall out. The small has shoulers that keep it in.
 
Simple answer...you don't. I suppose you can come up with a creative way of keeping it in (some sort of glue), but I wouldn't take any chances. Suppose it were to break loose and fall out? Why risk it...
 
I don't see why you wouldn't like it, please post pictures when you do get it so the rest of us without so much money can drool.... =)
 
All i can say is WOW. This thing is lighter than my spyderco military! it's very smooth and the lock is amazing. Not stiff but keeps that blade in place. I think i have about a 50-60% lockup, which i'm happy about. The fit and finish on this thing is amazing. I see no flaws whatsoever. And the lanyard isn't even bad, i think i'll keep it on.
 
Congrats on your purchase. To me a Sebenza is the custom knife experience at a production price.
