Just ordred a LE BK10!!

Finally decided that I'd spend the money on one, so I figured I would call Kabar first to see if there was any chance that there were some left. I just got off the phone with them and they still have some so I have one on its way to me!!! From the sounds of it they have some more left still, so if you were wanting one and thought they were gone give them a call and order one up. I was planning on getting a bk11 this month, but now it looks like I'll have to wait til sometime after xmas to get one, but oh well, I think I'm really going to like the 10.
 
Congratulations! You'll love it of course, trust me. This is great to know because I just told a guy at work about them last night and he is sold on it.
 
I love it. One of my favorites. Just right if you ask me. Not to mention its the coolest looking knife of it's size
 
Congrats, I think you are right, as a matter of fact, I know you're gonna love it.

I need to get me another one, so I can work on a kit I been thinking about, for a um, er, trip coming up in a few months.:D

It's funny... I have an LE BK10. I use it. I love it. And still, every time I read a new post by someone that's bought one, it makes me want to get one. Even though I already have one. Anyway, enjoy that thing man.

-edit- Placed my order. I wonder if mine will come with "all the bells and whistles."

I'd love to get a BK10 but I'm waiting for a full production model because I just can't bring myself to spend that much on a knife when I know I'll have to ditch the original sheath and spend another $50 on a proper kydex sheath. if it came with a sheath I liked I'd spend the money. until then my BK2 and old KA-bar warthog are serving my quite well.
 
Glad I inspired someone to order one with my post and Murph, hopefully your friend gets in on time to get one. I'm pretty pumped to have one on its way to me. I think I still might have to come up with a way to get a bk11 sooner than after xmas tho. I have an idea to make some scales for an 11 out of some deer antlers that I have from the first buck that I ever got when I was somewhere around 15 years old.

On a side note, I think this topic qualifies me to be a beckerhead as soon as I post some pics of my knives up in the photos topic!!!

I like and use the stock/factory sheath. It's nothing like the kabar versions of it. I started making a leather sheath for mine but I decided I liked the factory sheath to much. :thumbup:


If anyone don't want/use their factory 10 sheath I'll take it off your hands :)
 
Good find!!! I think its a brilliant design. I have had a couple of Camillus versions and am looking forward to the Kabar.
