Just ordred my first HI Khuk!

Been wanting a nice Khukri for years and finally decided to bite the bullet and order one tonight as I had some spare funds. The only "Khukri" i've ever owned is Spyderco's Khukri inspired folder designed by Ed Schemmp (which of one of my favorite EDC pocket knives). Now i'll have the real thing to compliment it.

Went back and forth for quite a few hours between the 15" AK and the 16" CAK. Ultimately decided to go for the CAK with a wood handle. I liked the idea of the fully supported tang. Hope I made the right choice. Extremely excited to get it in the mail.

Once you recieve your new Kukri you will be infected with the dread HIKV virus, for which there is no known cure. The only treatment is to by many more Kukri's.

yeah I decided on a CAK wood handle as well, villager finish with a fundraiser sheath to boot. I'm dyin of excitement! I've been waiting for waiting for a month+ for my order to arrive but I'm sure it's worth the wait..was hoping it'd be here for my birthday the 12th of may but no such luck I'm looking forward to being a full fledged CAK member of HIKV :D

I'm already plotting my next one(Bonecutter DOTD or M43) to boot so HIKV is real! Congrats on your purchase Afultz:D

dont mean to ask this but how do you find the 16 inch cak ,where to buy it,i have almost a 100.00 saved up for a good kukri,can someone tell me how much they are please. good looking blade.it takes me a while to save up money so i have been selling some of my collins legitimus and ontario machetes to fund this.thanks.

Standard price is $175.

Sometimes they come up in deals on the deal of the day at the forum here, but you have to get it quickly before one of the sharks gets it.

Oh, the memories! I can remember when I was going to get "just one." Yes, it was also a CAK. Got 'er right here!
 
seems to be a new batch of CAK's going around - both coming in and people ordering as well! I can't wait to get mine - I have a tree to get even with!
