Well we were at the store today and looking at knives. Been eyeing the grips for awhile. All the had was black. Just not overly excited about black knives. Wife asked if it was to late to order one. So we came home and placed an order for a tan one with black blade. I'm pretty excited about getting it. Up to this time most of my folders have been Buck, Case, and more traditional knives. I'm thinking this will make a nice EDC and will pair nice with my Bark Rivers or ESEEs for outings.

Throw some custom scales on it and you will be amazed! Really makes that knife blossom. Cuscadi, wilkins, Keyman etc. all good.
You will enjoy it either way.

I might eventually order some but will give it a try with factory for now.

Enjoy. I really like mine. [Edit: The tan/black is, IMHO, the best looking grip combo available from BM. I don't have pics, but Wife and I have matching black sheepsfoot blades with desert sand handles. Very nice. I think you'll like it. :) ]

Keyman's work is the only one I knew of.

Sometime after the holidays, I plan on getting Keyman to make some scales for me. Man, his work looks fantastic. For now, I have 2 knives (1 LE Grip and 1 Ritter mini-grip) with Wilkins scales and I think they look great, too. No complaints.

Very nice looking there.I've wanted a Benchmade for some time. Figured the Grip would be a good starter. I like the look of the Torrent but thought the Grip might be a better all arounder. I might get the Torrent down the road. I'm pretty set on foxed blades so it might be time to look at something different for awhile. The place I was at tonight had a tan Adamas that looked like a hefty knife. But I really like the shape of the Grip. It was hard to decide between the grip and the mini. Its been awhile since I new knife has got me this excited.

I really like my Large Ritters with Wilkins grips---they fill the hand nicely and the S30V steel is a fantastic steel out on the work site

I have a stock 551 with 154cm and have no complaints with the knife whatsoever, just doesn't get used since I acquired the Ritters.

Here are my Ritters...

Well got my Grip today from the wife. So far really like this knife. The sand to me looks so much better in person than the black I seen at the store. I have a feeling me and this knife will be together for a long time. I love the shape of the blade.I love the thumb ramp on the back which really surprises me as that is something that I usually dislike. A mini might be in order down the road.:o
