Just paid for my basic 8...what is everyone waiting on

Just paid for my basic 8... Gonna be a while before it arrives but that is fine as I am glad I got one. Who got what and do you plan on using it or just saving it. Mine might be my go to chopper blade as I love the res handles... They eliminate a lot of vibration when I ... Mmm chop, yeah that's it :D

Save one. Hopefully get to use one. Did not get out much last spring/summer.
 
I'm waiting on the same as you wildnewfie, so you won't be the only one on the rock with a basic 8!

Same here,, tan handles B8,,
Am I the only one that keeps playing with a tape measure to see what the length on the B8 will feel like? No dirty jokes here...;)
The truth is, I'm hoping it will work along side my infidu to cover all my needs. In event (I doubt it will happen), I think its just not big enough, then I may need to look for a 9-10 inch blade..
 
Big nmfsh here ;) black micarta. Speaking of which, which of the kydex benders has the pants for this from thanksgiving ganza? Anyone know?
 
Tan and black handles on order for myself and a tan for a fellow Dog/Hog, as well as a SwatManDu for a fellow Hog. And you're not alone r-2000, I always measure my blades when they arrive.

I had a Junglas and traded it as if didn't feel right ... I love my becker bk9 and bk4 but I love the busse res handles so I am thinking the b8 will be best but time will tell

Interesting,, I was either going to get a Junglas or a 911 if I didn't score a B8. Hopefully the B8 feels not too hot, not too cold just right
 
There are a lot of great ones around here. David Brown does fantastic work.

Can't wait to get the b8... And I appreciate you following my journey towards the basic 8 blade... Pretty sure I was screwed by the fake post but the email from Lexi was much appreciated. My pup is an alaskan malamute ... Bigger then average at 110lbs.... Pure wuss with the kids .... They call him fluffy lol.. He is an awesome buddy in the woods
