Just Paracord Wrapped My IZULA

After watching WilliamCutting08 on YouTube I decided I'd wrap my IZULA. I tied together two pieces of gutted cord. ( I took the white part out of the inside ) so it would lay down nice and flat. Rather than have the knot where I joined the two pieces of cord exposed, like shown in the video, I hid it in the hollow of the handle, then started my wrap, completely securing the knot and making it nice and smooth. I then tied off the ends at the butt, on the underside and tucked the last 3/4" down into the gaps of the cord so there are no loose ends.

I had no idea how tired my hands would get. Maybe I'm trying to keep the cord too tight, but, let me tell you, this is not budging in any direction.

Photos below. Be patient. My photos have a tendency to be on the slow side as far as loading. Thanks for looking.

As a matter of fact I did, and I took before photos as well. Thanks for thinking of it though.

Great wrap job. I havent decided if I'm going to wrap my Izula yet. Kind of like it bare too. Maybe I'll get another one to wrap.

anybody tried that " dip " plastic stuff ? its a paint like liquid that you dunk tools like pliers in to make a handle. do it 3-4 times to makes it thick as desired. i think home despot got it.

I think the consensus is that it's just not very durable.
