Brous Blades VR-71 G-10 acid stonewashed #346/1000 had my sights set on the CF version but couldn't pass up the price on this one and the only difference is the scales . Anyway very impressed with the fit and finish , nice feel in the hand , blade centering dead on , nice detent and very sexy ! Love the looks and the lines of this blade . Jason did a heck of a job designing this one and really glad he offers it now in G-10 since that made it within my reach at this time price wise .Flips lightning fast and super smooth And dig the pocket clip rides low but not to low and feels planted in your pocket . Might throw a lanyard on to to make it a little easier to grab and to accessorize 😎
Oh and the box/carrying case it came with is very nice it's like a miniature gun case but nicer . Another nice thing is the blade isn't like a Billboard there's nothing on it except for on the flipper that has the # on it.

I had one of these with the satin blade. Killer knife! One of the best flippers I've ever handled, too.

Yeah I'm really impressed with this knife . I might just save up for CF version to for a safe queen in my collection since this one will be a user though .
 
Great knife indeed, but I traded mine a while back because I was too scared to use it. I've also been thinking about going for the c.f. version

I handled the CF when I was there picking up my G-10 and it's absolutely beautiful .Its slightly lighter to but not a lot but thought I noticed the difference .
 
Very Nice! I would definitely not be afraid to us that thing. That G-10 looks awesome too. And feels better into he hand vs. CF anyway. Brous does do a very good job of blending beautiful and rugged in the same package. With the slimness built into the blade, it looks like it won't take up too much real estate in your pocket either. I'm totally digging that gun/knife case too.

I'm enjoying it very much and your right it does carry very well especially for a 4" blade that's built so solid .I'll be taking it for a ride today in my pocket to a trip to the grocery store lol . Just can't put it down I've been flicking it all day yesterday watching some UFC fights and there's someone fight on later today also .The action is very smooth it feels pretty slick I think it's even more smooth then my ZT's I own and that says a lot .

None that I know of but the curves are similar but different . Haven't had that model ZT in hand but this Brous feels like it was made for mine . Here's a picture of the ZT you mentioned for a side by side .
The lines on the Brous Handle is more gradual and not as sharp IMO . Also has more of a taper towards the end of the grip .

 
I have a ZT 0200, and that's why I asked. That style of handle does fit the hand really well. Congrats on the new blade! :thumbup:

Think my next Brous will be a Silent Soldier Flipper . Definitely going to check one out and see how it feels in hand .

Funny you mention this. I have been wanting a large folder, trying to decide between a 0200 and a VR71
 
Beautiful, Brous Blades is one of my favorites. Have a CF SS and would like to get an Enforcer in the near future

Thanks man , I really like that CF SS but had to settle for the G-10 I'm enjoying it very much though . Since finding , learning about and owning a few of these Brous Blades I feel like I've landed on a hidden treasure . The quality and craftsmanship is outstanding and there some of if not the smoothest and fastest flippers I own .
