Bruise is being funny. Those lines are from the process which formed the blade, right? Why can't Firkin show up now and tell me?

How much does a Blackstockings blade like this cost?

Too much! :)

But Gary, the owner, was really nice and let me do some trading. He also threw in a really nice and really sharp vintage straight razor.

BTW, it is small, it's only 12" and it came with a felt lined kydex sheath. Why more people haven't felt lined their Kydex sheaths, I don't know. It's great, very secure and the felt stops the blade from being scratched/worn away like all Kydex sheaths tend to do.

But I'll be contacting Vadim to make a nice sheath for me :)

My friend, according to the website it was $450.00....
I would have to love it and have it be a dedicated user to pay that much, but then I'm not into collecting art knives per se.
But remember I'm the one who declares that the YCS and her tools aren't too pretty to use. There is just something about using an expensive beautiful knife for a mundane task that just makes the task go better.;)

As usual, Yvsa has the last word. Who could say it better? Thanks for summing it up.
Next topic....

I would pay $450 for it. ;)

tis a nice piece.....
