Off the top of my head, it should be a laminate wood in cocobolo flavor and 425m steel.

There is a Buck sub forum here. Click "report" and ask the mods to move this thread there. They will tell you everything there is to know about this knife.

Not sure if handle is made from Cherry Wood or Cocobolo, Blade Steel 425M? 420HC? BOS Heat Treat on either?

Thanks again for any help with this!
She's a beauty for a 1991

Paul Bos (retired) was in charge of the heat treating department and developed all of the heat treatment methods used by Buck. Marketing never misses an opportunity and Buck trademarked the BOS flame logo and puts the logo on higher grade knives but every knife, standard or custom, are heat treated using methods developed by Paul Bos.

The handle is made from laminated birch wood stained with a dye that is called Cherry Wood or Cocobolo.
