Just got done placing an order with Blade HQ for this bad boy:

I gotta say I'm pretty darn excited about it, and this is after I've just purchased an SnG and Sebenza 25 in the past month. This just really seems like a knife that is a great user and will last forever. I really love the Blade HQ exclusive red color on the black blade too.

Anyone else have any experience with this fantastic knife?

Thanks,
David

Very good blade about a month ago I ordered the tan and stonewashed one hope you enjoy it the lock will be stiff though

I have a red/stone wash one. At first I didn't like it but as I've continued to use it the lock has quit sticking (one of my biggest issues) and I put a deep-carry clip on it and its really turned into a great little EDC. Since I've gotten it I've actually carried it more than my Rat-2 but that doesn't necessary mean I like it better, its just currently getting more pocket time. All in all its a good knife but be warned they take a good amount of break-in. [YMMV]

This thread made me do the same thing. Wanted one for a while. I got the knifecenter one Alnamvet68 has pictured.

I have the orange kw exclusive one and I think you will like it, its a really solidly built little knife and slices very well. It looks pretty spiffy too.

I really want one of these, but I don't think it would knock my current EDC out, and I don't want to buy a knife that I wouldn't use. Maybe I'll get one for a beater, or to throw in a tackle box.

Let us know how you like it when you get it.

Yeah I'll also add on to this thread when I get my Zancudo, I decided on this one and ordered the orange one from Knife Center.

As a beater, you can't go wrong with this. I got this exact one, the BladeHQ special Red & Black edition and I'm very pleased with it.
It's my current EDC, just because I like to change things up when it comes to EDC. The same thing forever, even if it's your favorite blade, gets kinda old, and it's nice to roll something different.

The lock is a little bit hard for my big fingers to undo, but for $28, I'll live with it.

I realize it looks a little pink in this pic, but it's just my shitty Android camera. It looks red irl.

Looks great! That color does seem hard to capture. Kinda surprised to hear about the lock though. Hopefully I'll get a "special" one.....LOL!

I think the BladeHQ video might have mentioned that as well. The thumb studs are fine, and it comes out fast and locks up tight, but undoing the lock can be a little tricky as there's no jimping on it, and it only sticks up a few mm over the red handle on the other side.
Sometimes you have to press kinda hard and dig in a bit, or just use your nail.
Not really much of a complaint on a $28 knife that comes in a sweet red & black color scheme, so I'll live with it.

I got the Knifecenter Camo & stonewashed version pictured above.

Mine was perfect out of the box, no lock sticking at all. Originally I was going to return it because the ad said G-10 in error. Holding this little gem changed my mind.
