I just purchased a small Damascus Sebe with graphics I can't wait...again.

Gorgeous Damascus. I hope to get a damascus blade this year but that is one of the nicest I've seen.

You know I never even thought to ask, I ran into it at the auction site with only a few minutes to decide. I had been looking for (and still am) a large Damascus Sebenza but the picture of the Damascus on this one just made me bid, and surprise I won.

Yes this knife will enter my rotation and be carried and used for what ever the day throws at me. I personally find a beauty in letting the tool be what it was designed to be. The wear and marks that arise from that use only add the character that tells the stories of the past to me and the future owners who can appreciate them. For those that feel the item has less value there is always the safe I guess.

These days my uses for a knife are a bit pedestrian and it will not be abused, there are not as many opportunities in the office/ classroom as there were in the field. :o

I'd like to see your pictures so can you post some when you get it, thanks. I love Damascus on a sebenza.
 
I definatly plan on posting pictures when it gets here at the moment it should be tomorrow, I received the shipping notice but the seller sid not add tracking.

As far as sharpening I will most likely use 22 degrees per side (44 included angle) for me it seems to provide a sharp durable edge. I will wait until the factory edge goes away before any sharpening.
 
As promised a picture, I need to work on the lighting but I thought I would add a few of my other EDC items for fun. I hope to get a few better pictures in a couple days. so consider this a tease :D

I ordered a ladder damascus small Sebenza with graphics in April 2010 and I'm really excited about that one!
