hi, first post here. i purchased a leatherman k503x today and i am hoping i like it. i was going to buy the buck x-tract but then through further research found the leatherman. i wanted a good knife to carry everyday that i could use for everything. the things that made me change my mind were the carabiner, better blade material (154CM instead of the buck's 420HC), and the fact that it is made in the USA. i have had the leatherman PST for a long time (my dad passed it down to me and it has been a great tool for fishing and outdoors but i wanted something to clip to my pocket that was primarily a knife but also a tool.

I have a few of the the C305's (the ones with the regular flat and Phillips screwdrivers) and I like them a lot.
