Just ordered my first Spyderco (Delica 4) from Ebay. is there any way to tell if it was a factory defect of knockoff? I ask because some of the Kershaws you see Ebay have 2 x's on the blade, that means they were factory defects. When it comes in i will be sure to post some detailed pics. Any details would be greatly appreciated. Here is a link to the auction, there is still 1 left.

Thanks! Wish i could get to the blade show, but i would for sure go broke. It would be like a kid in a candy store.

with over 43,000 transactions I'm pretty sure that seller cares about his reputation enough to sell a legitimate product. Spyderco does not let factory defects out to end users. That would irresponsible. As for the blemishes, they are as the word implies, cosmetic only. Look for the notch as mentioned. Look at the sticky regarding fakes and knockoffs.
