That I have not had any "Special Offers" in quite a while. I need to do something about that. Any suggestions on what model to offer?

Mykels EDC design?

I was thinking of making that at the makers meet, except that it is not a scandi grind....

There seemed to be quite a bit of a fuss over the USK that was posted in the JK of your Dreams thread.

With blade shapes, K tool shapes and sheaths, there are quite a few variants that would leave the kit open to individuals to build their ideal kit.

That is, if it would be feasible to offer that much flex in a build. Possibly a tapered K tool standard and they get a choice of drop, straight back, Wharncliffe or SW?

Id like a knife done in that hard 'Cherry' type wood I sent you. Not sure if its Cherry or not, that's just what my dad called it.

I do know its super hard. My little jig saw was burning through it instead of cutting when I blocked it up!

I'm not even sure I can do the grind he wants on it.
Could we do one with a scandi then? same shape and small choil, just with a scandi instead of the semi-FFG

I used some of that on my first forged knife, the one I sent to Jeff. I liked how it looked.

Sure could!

Cool - if Mykel is ok with some greasy old corngrinder making his design then I will go with that - his knife design just looks good.

I don't know if I said it before, but it looks like a Sebenza blade with a Griptilian handle. Both good things!

If you need some osage, let me know what sizes -- I can cut up a couple chunks of firewood into slabs.
may even be able to figure out a way to dry it some and flatten the pieces before sending them.
send me a PM or email if you're interested.

Rule nine since the XXL pass around is fresh in people's minds. The shorter one of course.

I also agree on the Toby`s Knife. It seems it`s been kind of neglected this year.

I'm in for a Toby's John. Everyone should read the story behind the Toby's knife.
