Just received custom 110 - with BG-42

Woot! I just received the custom 110 that I ordered in October. It's stunning. It's my first 110 and my first Buck. Construction is solid. Fit and finish is 95%. The polished bolsters and engraved blade are beautiful.

Give me a day or so for pics.

The specs:

BG-42

jigged waterbuffalo

no rivets

fingergrooves

silver bolsters

engraved script on blade - "H. P. J." and "10/06/06" to commemorate the recent birth of my son.

Black sheath

The more I see of the jigged WB, the more I like it.

As for me, I had a package come in yesterday that said "B K" in the return addy.
Cut that open wiki wiki using my 110 BG-42....it wasn't my 110 Damascus :(
But it was a 403 I wanted :)

Cool idea on the blade engraving. Guess we know who that will be left with ;)

I like it. I just ordered a similar blade. Hope the BG-42 supplies hold out. :thumbup:

Beautiful knife and a great way to commerate the birth of your son. I bought a 110 when my son was born and I plan to give it to him when he is old enough (he's only 1 1/2 now).
 
Anyone knows for sure if BG-42 is still available??? This question is haunting me no end....

Can anyone confirm please?? Joe?? Anyone?? AARRGHHHH......:(
 
First off congrats on your son! I know he will like that knife someday, it looks very nice. I am glad you were able to get one of the BG-42 blades as they are going fast.
I would recomend that if you want one, place an order now. The last word I got was that we DO still have some. How big a number some is I dont know but the original batch of blades wasnt that big to begin with.
Another option would be to call in your order, just a thought.
