that more people don't have one of these.

this thing is AWESOME.
perfect EDC.
the blue back spacer makes it look pretty,
axis lock is super smooth,
literally perfect size,

Well played, OP! ;)

Glad to hear you're digging your new Benchmade... nice knife!

I want one, but those suckers are mighty spendy at around $175. Thats crazy. I'll stick with my 940 in the interim, but I would like to get my hands on a 943 someday.

Mine was 138 shipped from knife works...and a couple of LNIB ones were on the exchange for around 115-120. I was torn between the 940 and the 943. Ultimately the looks of the 943 won out for me. It just looks so elegant. Man I am happy. Thank you guys for the help. I was very close to getting a mini ritter a couple of days ago and a few people recommended the 943...and I am so happy I listened.

Are you sure you don't already have one, Powernoodle? Might just be hiding in one of them big ol' boxes o' blades you have... ;)

:D

Gpknives sells the 943 and the 940 for right at $130.

I used to have one but sold it a few years back (for $85 IIRC.... pricier nowadays!). I definitely regret it though, as it's probably the most perfect EDC I've ever had. The only minus is the handles aren't that grippy. My new Kershaw Blur in S30V is probably the superior EDC knife in terms of specs, but something about the 943 just looks and feels awesome, and it carries amazingly well.

I have the 940 and love it. The 943 blade has a great shape to it. I think it looks classier. Great purchase. Grats.

Now you just need to find a 941D2CF or 941Ti-01.

940 and 943 see a fair amount of pocket time from me. They're incredibly thin and just disappear in your pocket. And people seem to love the anodized ti backspacer when they see it.

I tried one the other day and found it not as easy to open from an ergonomic standpoint. I have bigger hands and the thin/narrow shape caused me to have to work to open it. The weight makes it a nice edc but didn't work for me.
