JUST RECEIVED MY BM BAILOUT

I ordered a BM Bailout with green aluminum scales. The knife arrived Tuesday. I have wanted this knife since it first came out.
Although when I read reviews about the cheap feeling handle and soft heat treating I waited.
This Bailout with aluminum scales........Benchmade has hit a home run.
I like tanto blades so I'm really happy.
Anyone else but buy one.....thoughts?
 
Congrats! The Bailout is an interesting model. I love the aluminum scales too and I really like the color.

Strange that on its' release there was quite a bit of fanfare and attention, but all that died fairly quickly and now there's hardly a peep on the forums.

I had to get one to see for myself. Eventually I returned it because I don't find tantos quite as useful compared to a conventional drop point for my needs; I didn't care for the glass breaker lanyard loop thing; and even though I like M4 steel, I prefer a good stainless like M390 or s90V for an EDC knife like this.

If BM releases this in a drop point with a good stainless steel I may be tempted to give it another go.
