Well, I received my first Busse knife today from Mark (ceiw) and.....WOW!!!.....what a MONSTER!!! It has a Bama Clay protective coating and matching redish/tan micarta handles. From the initial picture from Mark, I thought that I wouldn't like the coating or the color, but to be honest, I think it looks great. Maybe it will look greater with a stripped/satin finish, but I am just so thrilled to have it.
When I opened the package and pulled out the bubble rapped Busse in sheath it was SO HEAVY. I was shocked. Very surprised at the weight. I knew that it was going to be heavy, but man.....I could do bicep curls with this thing!!!
When I unwrapped it and saw the beautiful, extremely well made Mikey Moto leather sheath it made me short of breath. Fantastic.
Then the moment of truth. I unbuttoned the holder and slowly pulled out the FFBM....just breathless..... I was still amazed at how heavy it was. I inspected every nook and cranny of it and can tell it has never been really used before and the edge was sharp! NICE!!! Right there and then I came to a wondrous, yet perplexing conclusion..... "So THIS is what it is like to have INFI fever......" I knew I was and am hooked for life....
After holding my new Mistress in my hand I had this overwhelming urge to destroy something! LOL I have a friend who wants to convert his '68 Mustang into a convertable....I seriously considered going over there and doing that work for him via my Busse!
Maybe another day...
I just wanted to say to everyone that it is great to be a "true member" of the INFI family and a special thanks to Mark (ceiw) for selling me this incredible beauty for such a fantastic price!
Peace to you, my brothas!
