And I like it a lot! Especially for $12. I looked at the old tools on the Leatherman site and I think it is a PST. It had some gunk in between the various tools and the knife was dull but cleaned up nicely. After I sharpened the knife, I have carried it with me all the time and it has been very handy. Should have bought one long ago.

Nice! What's the date code inside the handles?

Thanks for informing me about the date code. I did not know about that. It is 0495. Oh no! Not something else to collect!
I do like this a tool a lot. After I cleaned the tool and lubed it with Tuf-Glide, it works very smoothly. Works a lot better than the cheap multi-tool I had before.

I like the PST, and have several. They are light weight for easy pocket carry or belt carry, but the sharp edges are hard on the hands when using the pliers. After getting used to the PST, you will think you have gone to Heaven if you use a Blast or Supertool 300, or one of the other MTs that has a more rounded or ergonomic profile that is easier on the hand. But it is fun to collect PSTs, especially users and beaters, because you can get them at a decent price and then have the fun of cleaning and bringing them back to life. And then there is the black oxide PST, and a relatively rare Japanese version, and the PST II, and . . . .

The PSTs are in the lower left, and a black oxide version is in the sheath at the top left. Just saying.
