Just want to say that i received my first RAT knife, an OD Izula from knivesshipfree and i am pretty pleased with it (although i already cut myself like a noob with it)
the quality seems great, i love the powdercoat finish and its really sharp!

KSF offers great service and just letting everyone know, they are having a promotion, they are doing a giveaway with every knife purchase!

They sent me a small leather strop as a gift with it so i am very happy with their service
thank you Derrick and Wendy, it was the first time i order from you but it wont be the last

Great pick on a Rat knife:thumbup: Sounds like Derrick should have sent you some Band aids with the order:D

i bought my first RAT form KSF a few weeks ago and within 3 minutes of getting it i got a nice slice on my index finger chucking up on the choil too much!...lol....what can i say? i was just alittle excited about my knife.! good choice ont he knife and KSF!

Yeah I got a nasty cut on my arm wrapping the handle, I had the sheath under my arm and gave it a tug to tighten it up and it popped out and just barely touched my arm but gave me a nice cut on my forearm. Didn't bleed for like 10 seconds then it just flowed, one of those "wow, that really is sharp, oh sh*t it's bleeding pretty good...better not get any on the carpet the wife will be pissed!" Superglue is awesome! Oh and KSF was yet another good choice.

After a few you nicks you learn the proper procedure for cuts with a sharp knife,
1.) Stick finger or part of hand in mouth, if located else cover up with hand.
2.) haul balls to the bathroom, rinse blood away.
3a.) if its just a nick thank your god and put a band aide on it
3b.) if its a bad cut forget the band aides grap a washcloth and tape (I prefer electrical)
4.) wrap the washcloth around your cut and tape it tight to keep direct pressure on it, but not to tight you don't want to cut circulation off.
5.) check for blood, especially on the floor
6.) go watch a movie and after the movie check to see if bleeding has stop.
7.) once you finally get the bleeding to stop put some band aides on it and wait a few hours.
8.) clean the cut with some proxide or alchol wipes and then put some neosporin on it.
9.) cover it up and keep the dressings clean.
10.) this is the last and most important step, come up with some good story for what happen, i.e. I was rescuing a school bus full of kids from falling of a cliff and I had to punch through the window. (:D okay you may want to leave off the last step)

HAHAHA Love the movie part, I think I do that subconciously anyway. Well on this one since it was on my forearm, the truth seemed like the only story I could give so it wouldn't seem like I was trying to cover up a suicide attempt. Now I look like a "cutter".:jerkit:

Congratulations! Just received my first two on Friday. A black Izula and RC-4. Great knives.

damn, my OD izula is on the way...i dont want to cut my self:o ( by the way i always cut my self with new knives)

Well if you carry a knife and use it everyday you are eventually going to make a mistake and cut yourself, atleast thats what I keep telling myself to make me feel better :D.
