What a tank!
There isn't anything I can say that hasn't already been said!

I do have a question though, do any of you GB owner's have a patina finish do to acidic hands or perhaps some kind of liquid it has come in contact with?

I bought mine slight used and is in Perfect working condition, but does have quite a bit of patina on both sides of the blade.

I do know it's a tool steel and is prone to stains...but want to know how everyone else's GB is holding up?

My GB has been used heavily for the past 3 months, in all sorts of environments. Mine started developing a patina after the first couple of weeks. While I do look after my blades, I don't have time to "baby" them during my working day. I have no problem with this at all as CPM M4's ability to take a brutally sharp edge and hold it, greatly out weighs any minor corrosion issues.
For comparision, after 2 years of similar use my CPM D2 Para has no patina what so ever.

CPM D2 has been shown to be basically a stainless steel and is a lot more corrosion resistant than regular D2.

Just an FYI.

Thank you guys for posting, mines got a pretty mean patina, but having it as a user I don't mind. Just curious if others are experiencing patina as well and how it occurred.

Exactly. However I only used CPM D2 for comparison as there have been several users who have experienced corrosion issues with it in the past.

I've used my GB for food prep and I had what looks to be an oil slick for a few days. Kept using it and that went away.

Me too, I was cutting some onions with mine (sulfuric acid), got a slight bronze/gold patina on a small part of the blade. It's a user that has cut all kinds of copper wire, some steel ties, etc and has little edge damage.
I touched it up on a ceramic stone, and it's back to super wicked sharp and living in my pocket.
