After more than a year of patient waiting they have arived. A small Loveless style full tang drop point and a full tang boning knife for butchering. Both in 01 tool steel and both with black micerta handles with red spacers. The little Loveless has a tapered tang and is one stout little devil with file work on the back of the blade. I will try and get some photos of these gems up here to show off my new toys as soon as I can.

Just wanted to tell someone that can appreciate it as my wife just thinks they look like knives.

I've been using a Rayzor MK II that Ray built for me for a few weeks now. I asked him for D2 steel and a few other accomodations when he built the Rayzor for me. He obliged, and I have the most perfect folder that one could imagine. Bushbow, it's kinda funny how we've reversed the process.. now I'd like Ray to build me a set of kitchen knives! That wife thing is ironic also! Mine puts all my sharpened kitchen knives in the dishwasher  . I guess I'll have to find a magnetic stirp to put in the garage and just cut the veggies, steak and spuds, then quick wash the knife off and replace said beauty where she won't get the 'Cascade' treatment from my ne'er do well partner. Ray's knives certainly are worth the wait! :D

I have a folder with a Cobalt 6BH blade he made for about 4 years ago. What a cutter.

I was surfing around a while back and found a knifemaker in Wauconda, Wa. Ray Rogers lives on Turner Cr. I used to live about a mile from him (as the crow flies) on the East Fork of Cougar Cr. Too funny! Wauconda is a ghost town and he lives about ten miles from there to a primitive dirt road in the middle of nowhere! Too cool! Anyone interested can check out his website here> Some cool pics
