I went for a traditional look. It is the Benchmade 15031-2 North Fork with Dymondwood scales, CPM-S30V steel, and the axis lock. It is extremely comfortable to hold. I thought I would take its photo along side of another attractive looking and similarly styled thing of mine. Enjoy!

Nice! I like the wood, on the handle and on the smoothbore.

Good looking knife and B.S.S., I do wish they would have left off that little bit of recurve though. Nice pictures!

And so the benchmade addiction begins...nice knife! One suggestion, it would look really sweet if you got benchmades deep pocket clip (Contego, 275/2750 Adamas), sanded it down and then stonewashed it (leather lanyard?). Nice SxS!

Yeah I still have trouble sharpening recurve a on my stone. I'll have to get something cheaper to practice with.

I was a bit unsure about this knife but these pictures really show how beautiful it really is.
My first Benchmade was the Osborne 943, gotta love the S30V!

Thats a great looking knife, and shotgun. I have had nothing but a great experience with the mini-grip I own, and hope you have a similar one!

So the axis lock is interesting. It's easy to operate one handed. Opening is smooth with very little resistance, and it locks up with authority. I close it by thumbing the axis little release and pushing the blade closed with my finger. The torsion almost pulls itself closed.

I actually refinished the wood on the shotgun myself. It indeed is a browning side by side (bss). Serial number puts it at 1984, so same age as me.

I love shooting skeet. The Browning is beautiful. They are works of art. I shot an over and under in my youth. Enjoy the blade and the masterpiece

Nice knife. I'd seen a few pics on some seller's sites, but it definitely looks much better in your pics.

And saw the first pic of yours and thought, gee... that looks like a BSS, scrolled down a bit and yup. Nice side by side, too. :)

Congratulations, welcome to the family. You're gonna love the axis lock. That's a beautiful blade and a beautiful Browning.
