I just got the Stretch in the mail yesterday the minuet I was walking out the door to work. Im so glad I got it before so I could carry it all day at work and not have to wait to open it afterwords!
I currently own the Tenacious, Endura, Manix II, and Paramilitary 2 and so far the Stretch is my favorite out of all those for my everyday use, even though I've had limited time with it. The ergos are quite nice and I think it has a perfect blade size for my philosophy of use. The weight is just right at a little under 4oz, It's also the thinnest handle I have on any knife I own and feels perfect in my medium to large hands. I love the feel and look of the textured carbon fiber and I think more knife makers should go with the grippy "g10" style of carbon fiber than the smooth and slick look. It also slices smooth and should for how thin the blade is.
I think this knife fits in perfectly for me with my EDC use I do everyday. I don't know how well of a "self defense" blade it is but it seems like It would do just fine. I always carry two blades so if I think the Emerson CQC-7 will serve me better, Ill take that out instead.
