I just got the Stretch in the mail yesterday the minuet I was walking out the door to work. Im so glad I got it before so I could carry it all day at work and not have to wait to open it afterwords!:p

I currently own the Tenacious, Endura, Manix II, and Paramilitary 2 and so far the Stretch is my favorite out of all those for my everyday use, even though I've had limited time with it. The ergos are quite nice and I think it has a perfect blade size for my philosophy of use. The weight is just right at a little under 4oz, It's also the thinnest handle I have on any knife I own and feels perfect in my medium to large hands. I love the feel and look of the textured carbon fiber and I think more knife makers should go with the grippy "g10" style of carbon fiber than the smooth and slick look. It also slices smooth and should for how thin the blade is.

I think this knife fits in perfectly for me with my EDC use I do everyday. I don't know how well of a "self defense" blade it is but it seems like It would do just fine. I always carry two blades so if I think the Emerson CQC-7 will serve me better, Ill take that out instead.:D

Of all my Spydies, the Stretch is still my favorite. The ergonomics and thin carry, make for a great edc.

I ordered a blue frn stretch 2 because it was at a reduced price and I wanted to try out the zdp-189. The online retailer sent me the cf version by mistake. Let's just say I didn't complain:) love it!

So you paid whatever the blue frn stretch 2 costed for a carbon fiber version? If so you got a KILLER deal.

That looks familiar...

The other side doesn't happen to have a polished clip does it? :D

It sure does :) Thanks again EZB! I was trying to find the original post so I could leave you positive feedback. I just found out you can go to a profile and check threads made by that certain person. Now I can leave some feedback ;). Also did you get my email?

I think I paid about $70ish, maybe the best deal ever. Although my brother in law picked up a zt 0301 from a pawn shop for $45, I'm still trying to talk him into selling it to me.
