I think I have the bug, the CRK bug. I just used this (Small CF Seb)

Wow, just wow. Really had no idea. I've held a large Sebenza 21 at Blade HQ, but am blown away by the Umnumzaan. Been carrying the Small Seb's for a while, and some other smaller Small Seb sized knives. This makes number 4 behind the Plain Jane Small Sebenza 21s with clip point and Insingo blades and the Small CF 21 here. May have to sell the Plain Jane's to pay for the Umnum, but don't.............want..................to....

Don't get rid of any of them!! Save the pennies and be patient!

I have always regretted selling any of my knives.
 
Congrats on the new knife! and my condolences on the CRK bug - it can be expensive to cure. Whatever you do, do not purchase a Mnandi....
 
Congratulations on the Umnumzaan!!!!!!, it's a great knife.
Once you get the fever, there's really no cure. Don't be sad if you have to move a couple, be glade you'll be able to feed the fever and try out different CRK's :applouse:
The inlays are a treat, the CCG/UG's are just stunning. There's just so much to try out. Eventually, you'll find the right CRK for you. But the hunt and score is most of the fun.

Yes I've seen them and they are beautiful. Is there such a thing as a plane jane version of the Mnandi?
 
Agreed. As others have said, buy and/or sell CRK's until you find what you really want to keep. If you don't want to sell any at this point, you're that much closer to having the right ones for you. Now save your money and keep going. (or sell something else besides CRK's)

The joy is in the process as well, not just the discovery...:)

Congrats. I have the CRK bug too. I cured me of my Benchamade bug, just replacing one vice with a more expensive one. But I just how the small Seb carries in pocket. I have been looking a lot at the Mnandi and short of finding an Honduras rosewood, I think I will get a burled box elder.

How do you like the carbon fiber scales? I am also looking at small insigne with CF.

Love the CF scale on my small Seb. Now I wish my Small 21 Insingo had a CF scale....
