It is a large Sebenza 21 *plain* and my first reaction was this thing is huge.

My 1st, a small Sebenza 21 with micarta inlays and once you've become used to the small the large is indeed large.

I noticed that the screw for the clip on this new large *perhaps all large Sebenza's* does not show on the other side like the new small Sebenza's posted in another thread. I believe they are using the same screws and since the handle plates are thicker on the large the screw does not stick out.

So, in the meantime I will now get used to the new size and carry the large Sebenza for a while and see if I like it. Put it in the pocket and it doesn't bother me so no issue there. Will have to see what people say when I pull it out to break down boxes at work.

Next up will probably be a Mnandi. Now I have to decide which inlay I want. Hmm, choices.:)

You were warned beforehand.:p

How bad is a knife addiction when we need to see another picture of a knife we've seen many times over.:D

I don't blame you for not posting pics. I have a number of pics on my knives, but I have to download into photobucket and then to BF. I'm impulsive when I reply to BF, so I like to send responses and rely on other pics downloaded by other members. I have downloaded a few photos, but you have to be in the mood and have the time to do so. I had the Spyderco Para2, which is very similar to the Large Sebenza. I found the size ok, but a small sebenza is the perfect folder size. Its small, but not too small or large. It will fit most hands comfortably and after getting use to the opening action, its an addiction to open and close. I also own a mnandi. I found this to be CR's smoothest and best feeling knife along with the best looking. When I show my small sebenza and mnandi to non-knivers, the mnandi always wins, its just better looking with its wood inlay and smoother action. In all I like both the small sebenza and mnandi and enjoy opening and closing the CR folders, it very relaxing.

I would post pics if I could. Since it is a plain large Sebenza I figured I could get a little slack without a picture. Guess this bothers some too much they feel the need to respond about it in a rude manner.

The small Sebenza is more for me and I am hunting down a Mnandi or going to downright order one directly. Would like to get Box Elder but have seen some other inlays that look really good also.

I too like to just open and close my knives while looking at them.

Sweetness! I already have too many even scored a "post price raise" large and don't regret a dollar of it! :D
