I won this little jewel on the bay last week..a 1040T :D new,and sealed in a clam shell,I already had the Uncle Henry version of this knife but it being"slighty" used I didn't care for the way the blades closed..no snap whatsoever, and the blades"were" kinda loose..it just didn't feel right.:grumpy: so I won this one for $17 and now I'm a very happy camper!:) just felt like telling someone about this!

Yeah, nothing like the feeling of a new Schrade in your pocket! "Oh, but you can't buy a real Schrade any more! Didn't you hear? The company closed!" Yes, they are still out there for the getting. And the working patterns like the 104OT, 8OT, 897UH will be around for a long time. There is a certain satisfaction in owning and using a Schrade, even if it doesn't go as far as the fanatacisim of Schradeophilia some of us are afflicted with.

Congrats on the new Minuteman!! Now you need to get a backup of the same knife just in case....:D

Penknifecillen the antidote for Schradeophilia.?
Good one Dave...Dont you always feel sorry for people who dont know what a 104OT is...how can their lives be that empty?Dont slice yourself now getting into that clampak in haste I've done it before mate.Hoo Roo.

Oh,and Larry..those clampak's can be a booger:mad: and yes..I've had my 1 good cut too prove it! LOL!!!

With care, and a SuperSharp Schrade, you can make a horizontal slit across the top back, two short vertical slits, and pull out the contents, card and all. Then you can re-insert them for display if you choose to. If you don't care about destroying the package, use your Imperial Tradesman TM-8 Utility Shears and cut all the way around three sides.
