Nice pictures, this is the first Emerson in a while that really does something for me. The shape looks comfortable and practical for EDC. By the way, which dealers have these? Do I have to go strait to Emerson?

many knife website have this knife.you can buy from them. as a Chinese,i can get it.of couse ,you can get one more easily.

I would buy one in a heartbeat if it were drilled and tapped for point down carry.

I see no point in carrying point up without a wave.

whys that? heck i prefer tip up on everything waved or not.

imho the a100 would look "funky" waved.

most every EKI is tip up waved or not, for yrs my fav EKI's werent waved anyway (ie P-Tac, CQC8) si i suppose i just got used to tip up.

Looked at it before, didn't really see it. Now that I'm looking at lachine's excellent pictures again, I see 2 things:
1) it's a folding bushcraft knife.
2) It's the folding Scandi someone asked for recently --
just sharpen off the secondary bevel.

I guess I should pick one up. :)

Ok Lyc,
1. Simple and straightforward design.(often the simple things work best)
2. Spear point, just like them.
3.Button for an opener.(easy, that is important for me with the thumb surgery I've had)
4. Tip up carry.(the only way)
5. Nice size, it's slim, yes. But the overall length/size makes up for that.
6. Don't need wave, I think:confused::confused:
7. Liner lock.
8. Good choice for my first Emerson.
9. It just looks GOOD!

I just got one and like it. Strong, simple and works both reverse and saber grip styles. Titanium liners (both sides), grippy G-10, and a slightly modified A-type 154cm blade. I've had other Emersons, this is my favorite.
