it's not a double rainbow, shipping is easily explained. it is the cost to package and send an item through the mail or other courier service.

I think they were inquiring as to why it's followed by multiple question marks. Is $9.95 (plus shipping) a statement or a question?

What does that mean?

That means there was a typo/question when the item was built.

It's fixed.

Just a quick update. We have found the cost to mail the calendars to be higher than originally anticipated. Unfortunately, it has become necessary to increase the shipping charge on orders that are only for the calendar ($2.95 Domestic USPS 1st Class Mail / $10.95 International USPS 1st Class Mail). If you are purchasing anything in addition to the calendar, standard shipping rates will apply.
