so I've got a brand new Middleman in my pocket and it only set me back $12 and some change at Lowes. How could I pass it up? I also got to hold a blue-bone Russlock. Jeez, it was tight. Very pretty but I had to pry the blade into the open position. It feels good to have a stockman with me once again. Now I'm want to hold an Old Timer lockback. Maybe next time.

I know what ya mean Frank. Once ya get used to it being there and then its gone, ya feel naked. Regardless of what type of knife it is.

Yep know how you feel. I carry a 3 blade stockman by Mooremaker everyday. Isn't nothing that it can't do (well not that I need it to doanyway) Realizing I haven't got a knife on me puts me into a cold sweat panic. Have come to the aid of co-workers a couple of times recently and even got a "Cool" response to it,

I know what you mean about the Old Timers. I have a bunch of more expensive knives but I always come back to my old timers. So sweet....so usefull.

best regards,

Old Timers rock!
Right at this moment I have an 12OT in my front pocket.
It has developed a very nice coloration on the blade and backspring and, this may sound weird, but I like the scent of the steel (stainless steel knives just don't have it).
Every now and then I'll replace it with my Leatherman Micra or my Victorinox Cadet, but I always go back to the little 12OT.

Good luck,
Allen.
