There's a tiny bit of rattle, but great retention!!
Sorry for the crappy video, I used the front camera so I could see what I was doing.
I had been using a Kabar sheath for my Infidu, but now my 5.1 sheath will be doing double time.
 
Well dang, that's slick as heck! I would have never thought to try the swap. Nice job.
 
Awesome! Too bad I just got notice the Azwelke sheath I ordered for my INFImandu is finished. :rolleyes:

At least I know I won't need to buy another one if I end up with yet another 'mandu.
 
I have a glut of sheaths lately (my sagewood 5.1 is on its way!!) I feel like, but if you are destined to have an extra an Azwelke sheath is a good one to have!
 
Great idea. Is this the new 5.1 or old 5.1? I guess I can test for myself.
 
New one, I think that where the kydex dips into the bolts just happens to be a similar fit.
I'll be honest, it has better retention than a kydex sheath I had made for it! I could shake the knife out of that one,, I tried hard with the GSO sheath and couldn't shake it out.
 
Yep it works!! Just and FYI I have a bunch of Mashed Cat sheaths for my infdus and a few other of my Busses and they are excellent sheaths. They may not be quite as thick as the S!K kydex sheath but they are of equal fit and quality.

I've got a bunch of Eric's sheaths too. Great maker and good guy. Love his work.
