Just at the high end boutique blade store in Calgary. The manager made a point of showing me a new Wetterlings double bit. He said there were only 10 in Canada. Not much wonder, the price tag was $411 (CDN). Nice, but I could do 8 vintage rebuilds for that.

Yes. I am envious of the truck loads of stuff you find for $150. I have to go online. If I can get one good axe head here for $25, its a good deal. Then the handle. That's a whole other thing. House Handles are great, but the exchange rate and the cost of postage is killing me. I'd actually be lucky to get 8 finished for $400.

Is it the standard one painted up or something? Like the Hudson's Bay coloured ones.

Thinking of selling my large Gransfors axes. Too much money tied up in them.
