Just Saw 'million Dollar Baby'

I just saw "Million Dollar Baby". My wife didn't won't to see it. She thought it was a "boxing" movie. It's so much more than that. It works on many levels. It's definately a "water cooler" movie. You'll be talking about it for awhile. Go see it before you hear too much about it. I can understand why it's been nominated for so many awards.
 
Dave, I will neither deny or affirm any part of your post, I understand that there are many people, myself included, who have many problems in their personal lives, and don't want to see anything similar portrayed on the screen.
This movie was not made as a Musical, or Comedy, but as a thoughtful Drama. If you think that you could not sit through a movie that has a boxing theme. and all of the baggage that could possibly be in such a film , I'd probably tell you to skip it. I have personally passed on several movies, which contained subject matter or a theme, which I felt I would not be able to handle. NUFF SAID!!!!
