I remember seeing this as a kid in elementary school a long time ago.

I remember being so interested in building igloos and adventure stuff.

what an amazing film really shows the skills of harpoon/spear fishing, igloo building, his pete moss stove(which they don't really spent too much time on) they show his knife WOW!

I was impressed, got me going for winter.

I saw it more than 20 years ago and still remember it vividly.

I like the scene where everyone gets out of the kayak.

Nanook's movement is interesting. It looks clumsy at first, until you realize how efficient it is.

Is this out in video now?

but here is the address they had on the screen to purchase.

also it is quite coincidental that you posted here and I am just getting into khukris. I checked out the FAQ's thanks. just what I needed to get informed.

it is my belief that himalayan peoples migrated from there to russia, philipines, thailand, china, korea, japan, canada, US, mexico, and south america. I feel their shamanistic practices and culture seems to be the basis for all the indigenous peoples of the above lands.

Thanks

chris
