I've been quieter than my usual quiet self lately. I've been checking in w/ the forum daily, but haven't felt like posting. I don't know if it's the delving into Buddhist study that I've done lately or just tired, but I wanted to say hello.
It's still great to come to the cantina and meet people who still believe in honor and keep their word.

Study slowly and take time to digest. It was very slow going for me and I think that is common for most folks. Hard heads stay with it.
 
Thanks for the advice. You're right. It takes some time to digest when you are taking it seriously.
 
Lion's Roar - Best with your studies. I am going through the same sort of thing myself...after going so long without it, it seems to be taking it's time getting through. The honor here is also an important factor for me as well.

Maybe QuietOne was more appropriate. I was really thinking about Lion's Roar Buddhist Sutra when I did this current name. I guess it's a little obnoxious if you don't know the story behind it. :footinmou
 
I don't know, seems like Quiet One said a lot about your character, and Lion's Roar a lot about your aspirations. IMHO.
