I'm really psyched. I'm way behind on posting all of the knives that I have collected over the past few months.

But this popped up on Arizona Custom Knives and as soon as I saw It I knew I had to have it.

I can't post pics, but here is the link to the picture:

The blade is mirror polished, has a sharpened top edge, the guard is nickel-silver, 5/16"thickness, 2" depth, i think its got an 8 1/2" blade and is 13 3/4" full length... and what appears to be some beautiful ivory for the handle. Plus it has a sheath with it, which I'm really hoping is the original, though I don't know how I could tell that it is.

I am still new to collecting, started about 5 months ago. I think I've spent about 15k on my collection. I'm hoping that I can finally feel like I've collected a nice, solid, rounded collection and feel content, and I was, and then this knife shows up and there goes another 600 bucks.

Anyway, I thought I would share. I have found a little information about him, I don't know when this knife was made, though. But I'm hoping that the markings on the blade will help me out once I get it on Wednesday.

Thanks for any feedback. I really can't wait to have it in my hands. I'm going camping at the end of the month. But I don't know I'd I could bring myself to use it if it is in such amazing shape. But to show off, hellz yeah.

Very cool piece. A Hajovksy dagger was my very first custom knife purchase back in 1983 or so. I'd probably choose something else to beat on while camping, were it my knife. Not really what it was designed for, and it's not like you can just have him refinish this one or make you another.

I was definitely kidding about using this knife at all. It's gonna be one of my more prized blades.

I'll see if I can put together a thread showing all of the custom pieces that I've picked up over the past few months. It will take a while to find the links to the pictures and describe them. I'm pretty proud of all of them, a few of them in particular I feel lucky to have found.

Thanks for the comments. I REALLY should not have spent the money, but this seemed to be a Very unique opportunity and it just looks so damn cool. Plus, I have a really strong (sorta guilty) fetish for ivory. Especially scrimshawed ivory. But I only have three scrimshawed pieces, but two of them have different pictures on each side of the knife.

Oh, I was just re-reading my original post.

When I said "to show off, hellz yeah!" the iPhone I type on misstyped. It should have read: "but to show it off, hellz yeah!"
