Took out my screws and sanded them

Put some vasaline on it

Wasn feelin it so I washed it off

Im really happy with how it turned out...

Vasaline can be used to temporarily darken the micarta handles. Or rit dye can permanently darken them.

I have a question...have you intentionally left the inner part of the screw head darker?

If not, and if you like a more uniform/flat look, you may bead blast the head of
the screws...and don't forget to tape the threads to protect them.

Anyway I really like this mod and the way the handle turned out!
