Got these out while moving and organizing my gun room. Both were my grand fathers, well used hunting knives. The top one is a schrade 165, Made in the USA. It was left in a damp basement for years so I had it reworked last year. The second is a schrade as well to the best of my knowledge, my dad had it reworked years ago when we found them and gave it to me, it has no markings. Neither of them are extremely valuable as far as dollars go, but they couldn't be bought. Finding these to knives as a kid is what really got me into blades. I was wondering if anyone could give me a time frame of when they were made, especially the 165. Thanks!

Very interesting and nice knives. I wonder what the handle material is on the 165? It was made sometime after mid-1973, but could be quite a bit later. The second knife appears to be an un-altered Queen. It has their famous Winterbottom bone.

Tongueriver, the handle material on the 165 is copperhead micarta. The original scales were cracked so I had these put on and a little file work.
