Awesome knife! Glad to see someone actually use one:thumbup:. Is it hard to clean out from under the locking mechanism:confused:? Thanks for posting.

Looks like Durian. They smell like feet-cheese yet taste like avocado-cream-fruity-delicious. Hard to describe.

Around here the only durian I can get is durian ice-cream.

Durian. Yea I remember watching Andrew Zimmerman on the travel channel who goes around eating any and everything...like bugs and such. And the one thing he
couldn't stand to eat was the Durian fruit. Anyways, great looking ti-lock. Glad to see someone putting it to use. I got one coming on Monday and cant wait to use it.

local fruit? where do you live?

durians are crazy fruits, i see them in asian grocery stores once in a while. if you can get past the taste, its not so bad....

I thought it was a pineapple at first but then i realized it was a durian. I have yet to encounter the pungent fruit.

are you in singapore? durians are fantastic! just don't let them set for long anywhere, that's their problem. you buy them, you eat them, or they'll stink up the place.

The ti lock looks great, it's something i'd like to collect, but they definitely put the disclaimer that it's not for hard use.

.. The durian (pronounced /ˈdjʊriən/) is the fruit of several tree species belonging to the genus Durio and the Malvaceae family (although some taxonomists place Durio in a distinct family, Durionaceae). Widely known and revered in southeast Asia as the "king of fruits".. quote from Wikipedia...
Some of my european friends told me it taste and had texture of fermented garlic..but sweet..?? and had a very stinky smell.. But for me its so delicious and aromatic.
I live in Malaysia, and now its the durian season.. that usually start from April till end of July...
BTW, thats not a proper way to open up a durian.. just to show you guys how sharp Ti lock is..as all of you already know..

hahaha.... what a presentation!

Durian is the Asian King of Fruit, it will give you heat.
Better follow by Mangosteen the Asian Queen of Fruit, that would cool you down.
I live in Thailand and those are my favorite fruits.
