A pic of my Beretta 90-Two in .40 S&W and my MOD CQD Mark 1. :D

I'll get a pic up of my H&K USP 45 full size, and my Zero Tolerance ZT0300 when it arrives!

I'm very curious about the Ninety-two. Is that rubber grip something that is slipped on over the factory grip, or is that the factory grip itself? Have you fired a 92F and, if so, how does the Ninety-two compare to it?

I'm in the Army, and we fire the M9 quite often, and honestly, in my experience, its not that bad of a pistol....mine never had a failure while I was in Iraq. As for the 90-Two, those grips are Hogue Handall Grips that I slipped on over the factory grips. I prefer the palm swells, as they help the pistol fit better in my hand, and seem to absorb some of that .40 cal recoil. The frame on the 90-Two is made of some sort of lightweight alloy, and the slide is made of steel.....I can definitely tell you that the M9/92F is a bit heftier than my 90-Two. As far as performance goes, the gun itself is a tack driver from 14 yards, with Winchester White Box 165g practice rounds. It also has an internal recoil buffer, but I've never shot a Beretta 96, so I wouldn't know if it helps. But as far as everything goes, I've put 500 and something rounds through it, and its never skipped a beat on me.

A Beretta 96 has just a bit more punch than the 92/FS. Bascially the same frame in .40 caliber. After a few thousand rounds (especially as a range gun) the locking block will generally break on the Beretta 92/96. I have yet to see one break on a normal use gun that someone owns.
