Camillus was a an American knifemaker's name, like Case, Buck, Schrade, Schatt & Morgan, and Ka-Bar, that I can remember knowing since I was a boy - 45 years ago.
What a sad day to read that they have shut their doors for good.
I think my old Boy Scout knife from 40 years ago might have been a Camillus.
