...I still love Beckers!

I might have limited time and I don't check in here all that often, But Jessica, Becky, and Traci (BK7, BK9, BK14) are always my go-to knives. Even though I do a lot of reviews on other brands (really fond of Condor lately) on my channel, I usually end up at least mentioning that my number one knives will always be Becker. You just can't beat Kabar heat treated 1095CV.

I actually passed on a BK17 in order to get something different for a change this weekend (a BHK Frontier First), and within a day I regretted the decision. It was totally based on what knives I currently had in the stable and their purposes. I've decided that will be the next one I get. Funny, since when they came out, it was my least favorite. As for the BHK FF...I'm giving it to a girl friend of mine. Its too damn small. The BK14 dwarfs it, and thats about as small as I can go.

Glad to see they have Tweener micarta now!

Just wanted to say "I'm still out there, and still preaching the Becker gospel" even though I don't hang out here that much anymore.

I'm subscribed to your youtube channel, CTanner. You've got a lot of good stuff on there. I see you've been bitten by the Condor bug as well. So far I'm about 12 or 13 knives into my Condor habit. Weird thing is, I still mostly use my Beckers, even though the Condors are great.

I was curious about that Dundee Bowie I saw on your channel, but I have a bunch of large knives already anyway and short of dropping $200+ I doubt there's any knives out there that can top what I already have. I'm starting to focus more or traditional machetes. Ordered a marbles scout and camp cleaver from smokey's (they include the sheaths I'm told, rather than selling them separate). I see a tramontina or two in my future also.

I'm redoing the Dundee bowie video since the girl is nolonger going to be part of the channel (good riddance!). This time it'll be with the crazy edge I have on it now. That knife is ridiculous!! Any beckerhead would like it. Its the only knife I have that makes my BK9 nervous.

speaking of Condor, I have a Speed Bowie video I just did. (will be up as soon as I go buy a copy of windows7). Steer clear of that one. Its like a knife that didn't know what it wanted to be when it grew up. Basically a 10" imacasa machete with an angled handle. No idea what you are supposed to do with it....

I wish I lived close to murph so I could badger him into doing one on that crazy knife of his.

The best Becker cut is on the Kabar USMC vid, where it wasn't cutting good enough, so I got the BK9 out. Tried to do a water bottle cut and went too high... it sliced through the cap threads like they were made of warm butter. My 9 is retarded-sharp.

Which reminds me... since I talk about Jessica so much (The BK7...Not the not-so-secret crush its named after), I just remembered I wanted to do a "Proof of why the BK7 rules" video. Adding to the list now...

Yeah they do...Tomars have them but I'm sure most places that stock a decent range of Ka-Bars will have them as well.

Aren't those some sort of design? Looking for plain logo stuff.

Oh... and for knives. Just found another I have to get. The Habilis wanderer. Very "stabby" looking knife!

Nope, never heard of a plain logo t-shirt. There's those green/brown BK&T shirts but I have no idea where they're from. The wanderer looks like a cool knife, wonder how it'll perform against the 17 when you get it.

Thanks. I just bought a copy of windows 7 last night, so I should be back up and running soon. Have 4 videos ready for editing and filming this weekend with my primitive skills guy again.
