If it sinks that deep into a stump, imagine what it would do to a human body if hit! I don't want to be in it's path!

Yup, My Kat could do something much like that and survive.

I am going to have to pick up a big'un like that sometime. :)

thats pretty nice. i didnt know the hi sword was single edged.
it would make a nice ninja sword. can you tell me some more about it?

Nice pics! Couldn't tell from here, was there any deformation in that bottom picture?

Nasty chopped a 5"-6" log all the way through with his Tarwar at the MWKK.

First time I saw it hit, I almost tackled him to make him stop. Then between the look in his eyes and the length of that sword, something in me wised up and just waited to see what would happen....(remember that HSN katana disaster?)

Sailed right through it - tough stuff too. No damage to the blade, IIRC - Nasty can tell us.

Great lil' lopper!

looks like a light fixture reflecting in the blade....

was the slowpoke warning for the pics....or for how long we have to wait for sweet to respond?

:p :p :p

Hey DannyinJapan the wieght of this sword w/o the scabbard is 3 lbs 6 oz total length 36 3/4" blade length 25" thickness at bolster 7/16" ! 5/16" at center and at 3" back from the tip width of the blade at the bolster is 1 5/8" at center 1 1/2" at 2" back from the tip 1 1/4" and full tang with dual pinned slabs of whatever wood they use... would make a good ninja sword to use as a step up like I saw in an old Stephen P Hayes ninja book where someone is using the tsuba as a ladder  the lrg T is one heck of a brutal weapon no matter what part of this sword you get hit with its going to cause serious damage...the P.O.B is 5 1/2" from the guard so for me it does handle good for its weight and if you palm the swell at the butt :D , control is very good...You probably would be the only one in Japan with this sword so you would stand out as a ninja  After seeing what this thing could do yesterday for the 1st time since hand picking it at Unlce's I am very pleased!

deformation?...heck no, not with this beefy bastid only slight scratches on the finish but with any type of cutting like this that is what your gonna get

is that a bend in the blade on the last pic or just the way the light is hitting it??
