i carried mostly modern folders(Benchmade and Spyderco, and they are great knives) as EDC,but somehow they just stopped being satisfying,am i evolved,or it comes with age
thanks to input from members here and litlle help from friend in USA i have another GEC on my way, actually two of them :untroubled:

Amazingly, today i found shop in my town that have couple of Case knives in window(it is Sunday, shop is closed, but first thing in the morning ;)) )

I'm 16, and I recently am pretty much over modern knives too. I don't think it comes with age, but a maturing taste in cutlery. I started with crappy knives, then moved up to SOG, then Spyderco, then Benchmade, and now I have a Sebenza. But recently, a Case Swayback Jack caught my eye, and I jumped on it. So yeah, I think it's just maturing taste.
Also, nice knives.;)

Welcome to the coolest section of BF! ;)
You seem to have found the path of knife wisdom  if we can call that wisdom :D
Your pruner looks interesting (for some reasons, these knives always seem to catch my eye), and of course your SAK's, Opinel's, and GEC #25 (I recently acquired one).
I assume you live outside the US...you're not the only one who finds it hard to get a GEC (or any other American traditionals), sbut we all find a way to get some... ;)

Fausto, I'm almost same distance from Italian coast as you,but on eastern side ;)
couple years ago i bought one pattada, somewhere inland Olbia, unfortunately i left it on boat :(

Dobar dan, Rinos!

That´s a nice knife, for starting the collection. I spent this year my holidays in Omis, Hrvatska. Not far away from Split. Nice landscape!

Me, Fausto and you have the problem getting a GEC at a usual prizerange, over all. Here in Germany they not as available as they are in Croatia, I think.

Kind regards from Bavaria
Andi

I just noticed that you had your location written...
Sorry for your Pattada but...there's always time for another :D

Welcome Rinos, thats quite a collection so far, nice to see the New Zealand name in there !

It seems like traditional knives are the end of the line for knife interest evolution. Personally I went from balisongs to spyderco folders and finally to traditionals.

Hello, nice stable you have there. Good luck with the shop tomorrow!

That Pruner is interesting.

All knives, Ancient&Modern are great when carried with dignity, welcome to the forum! Many of us Europeans are here with many other people combining with our American friends.
