I just had some thoughts running through my head and decided to ask here.
First, has anyone used bamboo for a handle? The flooring store sells it for use as a hardwood floor, so I thought it might make some nice slab handles.
Second, has anyone heard of temper embrittlement, and if so has it afflicted any of you're knives AFAYK?
Third, is there anyone who can tell me how to resin soak/impregnate cord wrap handles? I've seen them for a while and was wondering how it was done. I like leather wrapped handles myself, but I might use paracord or cloth if it can be resin soaked.
